PRESCHOOL DANCE PROGRAMS
At babyballet, we make learning to dance an unforgettable and magical experience – for you and your little star. This successful and award winning babyballet programme, was founded 12 years ago in the United Kingdom. From two years to six years, our babyballet classes will give your child the chance to dance, gain confidence and shine, in a fun, caring and supportive environment.
By learning through play, our qualified and welcoming teachers give babies, tots, toddlers and young children the chance to dance in their own unique way, having fun and making friends along the way. For your added reassurance, all our ballet lessons are linked to The Australian Early Years Learning Framework, ‘Belonging, Being and Becoming’, making them the perfect activity choice for you and your child.
BABYBALLET TINIES
(2 & 3 YEARS)
Get your little one moving to the music! This class is for children ready to participate in a class on their own, this promotes learning independence in the child and helps to prepare them for their school years. The class is 45 minutes which combines ballet and tap dance styles together.
This fun class introduces basic ballet and tap steps while teaching musicality and free movement with the use of props, songs and activities. Themed lessons for each term provide an atmosphere of learning different ideas and movements.
Our Tinies students are offered the opportunity to perform a routine in our end of year recital. (Performance is optional)
BABYBALLET MOVERS
(3 & 4 YEARS)
The babyballet Movers classes encourages preschool children, aged 3 & 4 years, to combine their imaginations with dance using movement and song.
The preschool years are crucial in your little one’s development. Our Movers class focuses on the further physical development of your child through dance in combination with their use of imaginative storytelling. The Movers class is more than just dancing – it also gives children the chance to learn how to behave appropriately by responding positively to both teacher and the other children in the class which in turn will help them succeed in transitioning to their “big school” years.
Our Movers students are offered the opportunity to perform a routine in our end of year recital. (Performance is optional) Movers students attend this class on their own.

BABYBALLET GROOVERS
(Pre-Kindy - attending Kindy in 2025)
The final stage of our babyballet program is our Groovers class which focuses on improving co-ordination, self control and social skills, in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
This class is the perfect way to bolster the preschool learning program by working on core skills such as spatial awareness, numeracy and communication.
Set them up for classroom success when they start "big school" in a fun and friendly environment.
